Hugh Nixon

Hugh graduated from the Farm Management and Technology (FMT) program at MacDonald Campus, McGill University. Growing up on a grain farm in North Gower, Ontario, he developed a deep connection to agriculture from an early age.

For the past four years, Hugh has worked as a Crop Scout in Eastern Ontario for an agronomy company, gaining valuable experience in the field. He joined MacEwen on August 28th and approaches his role by building relationships with farmers and understanding their crop input needs.

Hugh loves his work because it allows him to help customers achieve their farm operation goals, which he finds deeply rewarding.

In his spare time, Hugh enjoys playing the fiddle, as well as hockey, baseball, and golf.
